PLEASE READ THE GRACE HILL IMPACT HERO AWARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW. BY SUBMITTING A NOMINATION, YOU FULLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Eligibility:

You must be eighteen (18) or over to submit a nomination. Nominee is defined as the person or company that receives a nomination for the award. Nominator is defined as the person who nominates a company or individual for the award. Void where prohibited by law. Nominees must be an active customer of Grace Hill, Inc. or any of its affiliates at the time of submission of a nomination for the Award. Nominees can be either an organization that uses a Grace Hill product or an individual that works for an organization that uses a Grace Hill product. The nomination submission will close on August 4, 2023. Three finalists will be announced no later than September of 2023. The winner of the Grace Hill Impact Hero Award will be announced no later than December 31, 2023.

Entry:

To enter, submit a nomination via Grace Hill’s online nomination submission web page.  Complete all information required on the nomination form found on the site.

Multiple nominations are permitted. Grace Hill and its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, mutilated or misdirected nominations.

Privacy:

Grace Hill collects personal information from you when you submit a nomination for this Award. Whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, that information can be collected and used by others. While Grace Hill strives to protect your personal information, Grace Hill cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. You are solely responsible whenever you are online. 

Prizes:

Grand Prize: $3,500 donation by Grace Hill to the charity of choice of the prize winner; one (1) complimentary 2023 Grace Hill Leadership Council Retreat Registration, taking place between September 15, 2023 and December 31, 2023; one (1) domestic coach round-trip flight to Fort Worth, Texas; one (1) night at the host hotel for the Grace Hill Leadership Council Retreat (TBD)

1st Runner Up: $2,000 donation by Grace Hill to the charity of choice of the prize winner; one (1) complimentary 2023 Grace Hill Leadership Council Retreat Registration, taking place between September 15, 2023 and December 31, 2023; one (1) domestic coach round-trip flight to Fort Worth, Texas; one (1) night at the host hotel for the Grace Hill Leadership Council Retreat (TBD)

2nd Runner Up:  $1,000 donation by Grace Hill to the charity of choice of the prize winner; one (1) complimentary 2023 Grace Hill Leadership Council Retreat Registration, taking place between September 15, 2023 and December 31, 2023; one (1) domestic coach round-trip flight to Fort Worth, Texas; one (1) night at the host hotel for the Grace Hill Leadership Council Retreat (TBD)

For each prize awarded, taxes, fees, costs, gratuities, spending money, entertainment expenses including, without limitation, movies ordered from the hotel, mini-bar charges, alcohol, in-room wireless access, incidentals and meals, are not included.

Prize Restrictions:

Grace Hill reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of approximately equal value. No extension or substitution of prize(s), once determined, is permitted. All federal, state, provincial, and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Winner Selection/Notification:

The nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges consisting of Grace Hill employees and partners. The decision of the panel shall be final and binding.

No substitution or transfer of prize permitted, except by Grace Hill, which reserves the right to award a prize of equal value if the advertised prize is unavailable.

General Terms and Conditions:

Individuals or entities submitting nominations agree to be bound by these Official Rules, or such other rules as Grace Hill may reasonably require and post on this website from time to time, and by the decisions of Grace Hill, which are final on all matters pertaining to the Award. Grace Hill reserves the right to disqualify any nomination that Grace Hill determines to be in violation of any term contained in these Official Rules. Illegible, unintelligible or incomplete nominations will also be disqualified. The Award is governed by the laws of the United States, and in particular the laws of the State of South Carolina (without regard to conflict of laws principles). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Award winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes, fees, duties, impounds, and surcharges of any kind whatsoever on prize packages, such that Grace Hill shall have absolutely no responsibility, liability or obligation, financial or otherwise in connection with any of the foregoing. In order to receive the prize, the award winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release and any additional information, waivers and releases that may be required within ten (10) days of notification. Failure to return documents timely, or if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, may result in disqualification with an alternate winner selected. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, is found to have violated any of these Official Rules, or such other rules as Grace Hill may reasonably require, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited by law, Award winner’s acceptance of prize grants Grace Hill and its licensees, affiliates and assigns, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide forever in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the winner’s name, portrait, photo, picture, voice, likeness, address (city/state) and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration; and further without such additional compensation, appear for, or provide biographical information for use in, any presentation or other activity which may include filming/audio/video/electronic/ digital or other recordings and/or interviews, as may be determined from time to time by Grace Hill. Further, by accepting the prize, Award winner agrees to release and hold harmless Grace Hill, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any Award-related activity, or participation in this Award. Void where prohibited.

Limitations of Liability:

By submitting a Nomination, each participant agrees to release and hold Grace Hill and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Grace Hill, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all liability for injuries, losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Award.

Grace Hill, agents and representatives of Grace Hill, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) late, lost, delayed, misdirected, undeliverable, illegible, unintelligible and incomplete Nominations or other correspondence; (2) telephone, electronic, technical, network, Internet, hardware or software problems or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulty of any kind including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials associated with the Award; (3) failed, incomplete, garbled or nominations; (4) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Grace Hill that may cause the Award to be disrupted or corrupted (in which event, Grace Hill reserves the right to cancel the Award, and select winners for prizes from all eligible nominations received prior to the cancellation.); (5) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Award; or (6) any printing or typographical errors in the Award site, these rules or any materials associated with the Award. If, for any reason, the Award is not capable of being operated as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Grace Hill, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Award, Grace Hill reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Award.

IN NO EVENT WILL GRACE HILL, ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE AWARD. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THIS SITE IS PROVIDED `AS IS` WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
