April is Fair Housing Month! Grace Hill joins the industry in its work every day to end housing discrimination. During the month of April, when we celebrate this effort this year, it is on the 50th anniversary of President Lyndon Johnson signing the Civil Rights Act of 1968 into law. The Fair Housing Act, which prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing based on race, color, religion, or national origin, is Title VIII of that law.
As we continue our work to end discrimination in housing, here is a helpful download showing 10 of the most common violations of fair housing laws.
