With Kindness, the World Thrives

Jayme Presley lives by a simple, yet powerful, belief: that the world thrives with kindness. Growing up in a loving home, she was surrounded by a strong family foundation. Although her family endured budgetary constraints, they worked hard to provide her with the best life possible. While her mom and grandmother sewed many of the clothes she wore as a child, she vividly remembers the joy of receiving hand-me-downs or any other type of charitable donation.

Those early experiences shaped Jayme’s deep sense of gratitude and her commitment to give back. “Sometimes even the smallest gestures make the largest impacts,” Jayme reflects. “I still believe the world thrives with kindness.”

As an adult, success expanded her financial opportunities — and with it, her desire to share her time, resources, and energy to support others.

A Champion for Others

One of Jayme’s most passionate causes is her work with Kaizen Adaptive Training, an organization dedicated to providing free physical training and building community for adaptive athletes. Jayme’s connection to the organization began with her own physical fitness journey at Kaizen Athletics, where she witnessed firsthand the impact of the owner’s charitable efforts.

“I’ve always been a large supporter of helping veterans, first responders, or those with a disability to live life to the fullest,” said Jayme. So the organization’s mission — to create an inclusive fitness space for individuals with long-term physical or traumatic impairments, serving wounded warriors, veterans, first responders, law enforcement, and the broader adaptive community — really resonated with her.

Leveraging her previous fundraising experience, she decided to help Kaizen expand its philanthropic program to maintain tuition-free status for adaptive athletes. In 2023, she led efforts for the first charity golf tournament, raising an impressive $28,000 to expand the program’s reach.

Jayme is spearheading the golf tournament again this year and has rallied both her company and individual properties to sponsor the event — ensuring more athletes gain access to training that strengthens movement, community, and resilience.

Her dedication has not gone unnoticed. As one colleague shared, “Jayme is one of the most giving, selfless, and caring individuals I know. She leads by example and consistently invests her time and energy into making a difference in the community.”

A Heart To Serve

While Jayme is committed to the work of Kaizen Adaptive Training, her passion for service extends well beyond this initiative. She actively participates in and supports a variety of causes that strengthen her community, protect the environment, and support those in need. Among the many initiatives she champions are:

As another colleague emphasized, “Jayme’s tireless efforts, compassionate spirit, and unwavering dedication to others make her a true role model. She embodies the essence of an Impact Hero — creating meaningful change, uplifting communities, and inspiring those around her to give back.”

Your Next Best Step

For Jayme, volunteering isn’t about finding huge blocks of time or taking on massive commitments — it’s about showing up with an open heart and contributing what you can. She encourages others to begin by identifying causes that inspire them and then taking small, manageable steps toward involvement.

“Nonprofits need a wide range of skills,” she explains. “Ask yourself what talents you can share. People hesitate because they don’t have enough time — but even a few hours a month can make a difference.”

Beyond the personal fulfillment, Jayme believes volunteering strengthens both individuals and communities. It offers the chance to develop transferable skills such as teamwork and leadership while building empathy and a sense of purpose. “When you choose to volunteer your time,” she says, “you are contributing to the well-being of society, which is extremely important and fulfilling.”
