The prestigious Ellis Customer Experience Best in Class Awards have been a staple in measuring resident satisfaction in multifamily for over 10 years. The award is presented to the top 10% of communities based on results of resident surveys conducted across five touch points – lead conversion, move-in, maintenance, pre-renewal, and move-out.

These communities not only achieved the highest loyalty scores from resident surveys with an average of 93%, but also responded to residents an average of 95% once a survey was completed. The Best in Class communities also have an 11% higher likelihood to renew than their peers. Additionally, they responded to residents within an average of 5.26 days, more than 1.50 days faster than other communities.

How it Works

To be eligible to compete for the Ellis Customer Experience Best in Class Award, the property must have been on the Ellis Resident Surveys Program for the past nine months and have 20 or more completed surveys.
