Our survey aims to provide critical insights to rental housing providers about every stage of the customer journey — from search to renewal. This industry-wide initiative has long been a trusted resource, providing deep insights into evolving renter preferences for the past 10 years.

How to Participate
To participate in this year’s Renter Preferences Survey, you must first confirm receipt of our privacy policy and authorize your company’s participation. We will then provide instructions on how to securely upload select resident data. All participating firms must provide data by April 16, 2023. Please fill out the form below to get started!
What Residents Can Expect
Following your authorization, Grace Hill will send the email survey directly to residents in your community at no cost to you. We expect the survey to launch in June 2023. To help boost resident response rates, the email subject line will contain the community name and reference the 2024 Renter Preferences Survey.
You will also receive digital flyers to print and use onsite to promote your company’s participation in the survey. As an incentive, we offer residents the chance to win a $500 Visa gift card for responding to the survey.
