Single stream recycling is an easy option for all residents to use. Encourage more recycling by adding bins in community areas that may only have trash receptacles. Consider an area for boxes as part of your package management system. The increase of deliveries means more waste that can be recycled.
Water Conservation
Consistent preventative maintenance is key to finding and preventing leaks. Budget for efficient equipment with new technology whenever possible. Low-flow toilets, shower heads, and faucets are a great start.
Resident Education
Share community data on daily utility consumption. Discuss impactful ways to lower utility bills while helping the environment.
Enhance Greenery
Plant a tree each year. This is great for community curb appeal and better for the environment. Consider offering a community garden for resident use if space allows.
Bike Amenities
Encouraging bicycling as an alternative form of transportation. You can offer bike storage, designated riding paths, and repair stations.
