What credential is most recognized by multifamily property companies?

57% of multifamily property companies surveyed said their company recognizes CAM certification.

In a recent Grace Hill survey, we found that of all property management certifications, Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) was the credential most recognized by multifamily property companies. 57% of companies surveyed said their property recognizes CAM certification in some way.

 

 

When asked how they recognize credentials:

  • 54% said preference in hiring

  • 32% said promotions

  • 29% said raises

Additional methods of recognition mentioned included: rewards, recognition in company newsletter and annual awards event, mention in company announcements.
